Merlin Carothers

Merlin Carothers, the esteemed author of Prison to Praise, Power in Praise, and sixteen other titles, is widely recognized within the Christian community. His literary works have achieved remarkable success, with over 19,000,000 copies sold and translations available in 59 foreign languages. His distinctive approach, centered on the concept of praising in all things, has demonstrated outcomes that can be described as extraordinary.

The core of his message—that individuals are called to praise God for all circumstances they encounter—is grounded in biblical teachings. Romans 8:28 states: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God. This principle underscores the belief that there is nothing beyond God’s ability to transform for good and utilize as a means of spiritual growth for those who place their love and trust in the Lord.

Note

I (Paul Soffe) recorded these talks in Horsham UK. It was quite incredible that I was given this work as normally Merlin would have been recorded by one of the major protestant organizations. What was even more of a ‘God incidence’ was being asked the following week go to Medjugorje to record talks and on my first night sharing a meal with a man who asked me if I had ever heard of Merlin Carothers! That man was Archbishop Gabriel Ganaka who was giving a talk based on Merlin’s teachings. (See ‘Praise – a hot line to God’.)
